Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total weight of all solids that are dissolved in a given volume of water, expressed in PPM (Parts Per Million). A TDS meter is a vital piece of equipment if you are using a Reverse Osmosis unit with a deionisation chamber. If you are not using a TDS meter, you may be throwing away DI Resin which is perfectly serviceable.
